Rita Cincotta

Principal Consultant, Executive Coach, Non-Executive Director

Individual and team performance is where I spend my time. I step into the role of helping you and your team to feel greater fulfilment. I’ll help you to define what fulfilment means to you and then together we will set a path with you get there. I help people to live better, work smarter and be authentic. It takes less energy to be yourself, and it builds trust. Trust is my core principle. My clients describe me as innovative and pragmatic. My family tell me I’m nurturing and impatient. How would I describe myself? An eternal optimist curious about different perspectives. What got me here? A whole lot of varied life experience! And a few other things… I have led HR teams and held c-suite equivalent roles in Human Resources in a variety of industries including technology, health, financial services and higher education. I am a highly experienced Executive Coach having worked with all levels of leaders across most sectors. I also serve on the Board of a public hospital. I work with organisations to help them to develop a culture that delivers an optimal experience for their teams and their customers. I am also an author, speaker and facilitator and my focus areas are team and individual performance, leadership development and ways of working.

Rita has proven experience in developing positive cultures that deliver a commercial benefit. Rita actively coaches and mentors people seeking a career change. Rita has delivered presentations nationally on topics associated with cultural transformation, gender diversity, and new ways of working. Rita is personal style can be described as highly collaborative and a clear communicator with a strong focus on building quality working relationships.

Prior to embarking on a portfolio career, Rita Cincotta was the Vice-President People and Culture at Swinburne University of Technology. Rita was also a member of the Swinburne Executive Group, Chair of the Science and Australia Gender Equity (SAGE) Committee and Chair of Swinburne’s inaugural Financial Inclusion Action Plan (FIAP).

Rita is a Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors and holds a Masters Degree in Industrial and Employee Relations from Monash University and a Bachelor of Business and Arts from Swinburne University. Rita commenced her Phd in 2014 at Swinburne University in the area of gender equity targets focusing on women returning to work after having children.

George Liberopoulos

George was also a Member of the Asia Pacific and Middle East Chief Commercial Council, accountable for leveraging regional and global insights and innovations on key growth industries and adapting into local needs.

George is a pragmatic thought leader and independent consultant with over 20 years commercial, HR and Reward experience. George has a unique blend of expertise helping companies grow in a disciplined and sustainable way and deliver on their aspirations.

During his 10-year tenure with Aon, George led the Victorian Rewards Consulting Practice and was responsible for the delivery of professional rewards advice to clients across many broad industry sectors in Australia. His consulting expertise covered broad-based compensation, sales incentive design and review, executive remuneration and total reward strategy development across several industries including banking and finance, technology, professional services (eg. design, engineering healthcare, education, not for profit and FMCG).

Prior to Aon, George also worked for General Electric and AXA Australia between 2003 and 2008, in senior reward consultant and HR operations positions. George proudly started his professional career at Village Cinemas Australia in 1995 and for 9 years worked in cinema operations as a cinema manager and in the Film Buying and Programming Department, responsible for the VIC/NSW regional and metro cinema circuit, including media buying and marketing.

George studied at Deakin University, completed a Bachelor of Applied Science, Health Promotion and Psychology graduating in 1994, completed an Advanced Diploma of Financial Planning graduating in 2004 and completed Masters of Business Administration (MBA) graduating in 2007. George also completed in 2017 the Harvard University, Advance – Management Development Program.
